Your support serves local needs in the Lowcountry. 75% of every dollar raised stays in the Lowcouontry service area to provide breast health education, screening and diagnostics and survivor support services. 25% supports Komen's National Research and Awards programs.
We want 12,000 participants at the 2013 Race, so start recruiting your team now! Last year, the 2012 Komen Lowcountry Race for the Cure® fundraised over $800,000 dollars.
Our goal for the 2013 Race for the Cure is $1,000,000 dollars! And need your help to reach our goal!
Is your registration fee tax-deductible?
No, your registration fee helps defray the costs of producing the Race and is not considered tax-deductible. However, any amount that you choose to donate above the entry fee is tax-deductible.
For the safety of all participants, rollerblades and pets are discouraged from participating in this event. Strollers are allowed, but we ask that you line up at the back of the 5k. Thank you for your cooperation!
